This was a outstanding value however it doesnt come near to the specs provided. I called the firm and they gave people some line about JUST ABOUT ALL Companies use more voltage on their amps when testing rms/peak then such a normal vehicle puts available. I have this used with Cadance FXB12S-2 that happens to be only 800 rms/1000 peak along with the heat/speaker shut off has never cut them off one time and the overpass is usually up 3/4. The lip relating to the edge of the amp also should make it hard for installing that wires (especially the express themselves wires you kinda require a bent phillips or to rig something without the need of stripping them). Having said that dealing push the speaker I acquired it for very properly just dont expect 3000 or even 1500 from it... ever. Got the new amp put in pushing my diamond sound d9 at 4 ohms considered 1200 rms but my own old 600 rms with 4 ohm amp pushed the sub doubly hard dont think that specs are true but it surely did sound nicer together with cleaner than my old amp good your money can buy but not too ideal for specs yes i produced this amplifier. true enought the idea only has 1200 t at 4 ohm 2200 t at 2 ohms together with 3000 at 1 ohms. but i was very dissapointed i onlt got 1200 watts of power for it turned up but it has a whole lot of bass and iam moving 2 12 inch woofers. you be better acquiring a certified car amp thats the trye wattage. and i might sell mine to get hold of true wattage amp!!!! Cant beat the effectiveness this amp offers for any price. I have this amp moving 2 15 Sony Xplods (no not necessarily the crappy walmart ones) therefore draws so much electrical power my headlights dimmed during the night time. Added a 2 Farad BOSS capacitor and fix that and the following thing makes my subs STOP! I have my subs functioning at 2 ohms today and they bang CHALLENGING. Amp can take it with out a sweat even when playing a long time in bass intensive tunes. Would suggest getting that PH4000D or PH5000D for those who have the extra money nevertheless. You get a bit of distortion when pushing RMS therefore can get kinda poor when turning it up but truthfulness take that into bank account when choosing your amp you ought to have no problem.

yes i brought this amplifier. true enought it only has 1200 watts at 4 ohm 2200 watts at 2 ohms and 3000 at 1 ohms. but i was very dissapointed that i onlt got 1200 watts of power with it turned up but it has a lot of bass and iam pushing 2 12 inch woofers.you be better getting a certified car amp that has the trye wattage. and i may sell mine to purchase a true wattage amp!!!!

Got the new amp installed pushing my diamond audio d9 at 4 ohm's said to be 1200 rms but my old 600 rms at 4 ohm amp pushed the sub twice as hard don't think the specs are true but it did sound nicer and cleaner than my old amp good for the money but not too great for specs
